Van's Instant Gun Blue was founded by a man who believed "do it yourself" was the only way to get something done.  On that note, we want to provide our customers with the tools and advice for successful DIY projects.  For decades our Van's family has traveled to gun and knife shows across the country providing live demonstrations of our product. It's one thing to have someone tell you how well their product works but when a person sees first hand how simple it is to use Van's Gun Blue to beautify a piece of steel it's an entirely different experience! Bluing steel is a versatile process and the applications are only limited by our imaginations.  Each week we will provide tips and advice to help you complete your personal metal finishing projects. Please feel free to ask your specific bluing questions and we will do our best to address them directly.
